Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By downloading, installing, or using G4 OS or any G4 service ("Services"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services. If you are using G4 OS on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.

2. Licence to Use G4 OS

Subject to these Terms, G4 Business Technologies grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use G4 OS for your own purposes. The Free tier is licensed for personal, educational, and non-commercial use. Commercial use requires a Starter or higher plan.

The core OS components are licensed under GPLv3. Proprietary components (G4 AI engine, G4 MDM, G4 Cloud) are licensed under a separate commercial licence.

3. Acceptable Use

You may not use G4 OS or related services to:

• Violate any applicable law or regulation
• Distribute malware, spyware, or harmful code
• Infringe intellectual property rights of others
• Harass, threaten, or harm other users
• Circumvent licence enforcement or tamper with licensing
• Use AI features to generate CSAM or illegal content
• Reverse-engineer proprietary components (open-source components permitted)

4. Subscriptions and Payments

Paid subscriptions are billed in advance. All prices are exclusive of GST (18% added at checkout). Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled. Refunds are available within 7 days of first purchase for paid plans; no refund for subsequent renewals except where required by law.

5. AI Features

AI-generated content is provided "as is" without warranty of accuracy. You are responsible for reviewing AI outputs before use. Do not rely solely on AI for medical, legal, financial, or safety-critical decisions. G4 AI may have usage limits as described in your plan.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

G4 OS and all Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, G4 Business Technologies' total liability for any claim arising out of these Terms shall not exceed the amounts paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim, or ₹1,000, whichever is greater.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Bangalore, Karnataka. For disputes under ₹1 crore, we offer online dispute resolution before litigation.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be notified via email and an in-OS notification at least 30 days in advance. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
